The Clifton Fire Protection District's response area spans from 30 road to 35 road and Interstate 70 to the Colorado River. Clifton operates out of one station using a cross-staffing model. The annual call volume for 2023 was 4,300+ 911 calls. Clifton Fire Protection District (CFPD) also provides mutual and automatic aid to neighboring agencies within the county.

Clifton Fire Protection District is currently accepting applications for Part-Time Firefighter/EMT or Paramedic, Part-Time Single Role, and Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic.
